About us

Founded in the early Taisho era (1910s) in a place located between Kyoto Imperial Garden and Kyoto City Hall.

We mainly carry in antique tableware that can be used daily and tea ceremony utensils (matcha and green tea) created by contemporary artists.

We have a large number of products in the same limited space as when we were founded.

We handle antiques and works of contemporary craftsmen

Pottery

Tableware, sake cups, dolls and others. It's from Imari ware, Kyoto ware, and other potteries from all over Japan.

 

Tea utensils( matcha, green tea)

tea bowl, tea cup, tea whisk, tea container, tea scoop, incense burner and others.

Netuke, flower vase, go & shogi board and piece, lacquer ware, iron kettle and others.

Kyoto city subway Tozai Line "Kyoto City Hall" Station.

About 4 minutes walk to the north on Teramachi-street from Exit 11.

 

Keihan Railway

About 15 minutes on foot from "Sanjo" or "Jingu-Marutamachi" station.

From Kyoto Station, take No. 205, No. 17, No. 4 to "Kyoto City Hall" Get off, about 3 minutes on foot.
